Life Assessment
We’re an expert in assessing the current condition of equipment and its remaining life based on that. With a pragmatic approach and data collection on the component/equipment history, we also work with external experts familiar with the operation details. Based on this, we take either a calculation-based approach or a design approach to conduct the study.
Service Certification
Fitness-for-service (FFS) assessments gauge the structural integrity of components and their feasibility for a continued service. This helps you make run-repair-replace decisions, aid in plant management to identify appropriate mitigation actions, ensuring the component can be operated safely. We also address issues that may arise during the lifecycle of a component.
Inspection Services
With extensive knowledge on maintenance, inspection, repair, and alteration of pressure vessels, we provide broad range of inspection services including API 510 – Pressure Vessel Inspection, API 570 – Piping Inspection, API 653 – Aboveground Storage Tank Inspection. Such inspections improve management control of process unit operations, maintenance and repair.
NDT Inspection
Advance NDT (ANDT) inspection methods deployed by Dutt Engicon capitalize on our state-of-the-art equipment and technology for faster, precise, and detailed asset integrity data. Our methods offer a higher chances of detecting flaws than the traditional methods. We identify anomalies, analyze the characteristics and assist the plant personnel make run-repair-replace decisions for the potentially -damaged assets.
NDT Inspection
Be it serviceability or structure of the material, all kinds of flaws can be detected using conventional NDT inspection. It is one of the widely applied inspection technique where we use ultrasonic testing, visual testing, leak testing, dye penetrant testing, radiographic testing, acoustic emission testing, magnetic testing and eddy current testing, while ensuring the materials under test are not harmed in any way.
Pressure Vessel and Piping
Hydro testing or hydrostatic testing checks for leaks in pressure vessels before being placed into service or during routine checks. In this, we completely fill up a pressure vessel with water and apply pressure to it for detecting any leaks. The test is used to figure out if the pressure vessel has the correct mechanical properties. We deploy this testing for fire extinguishers, gas cylinders and oil & gas pipelines.
Horton Sphere and Mounded Bullet
Our services include inspection of Road Tankers, equipment, and machinery involved in Mounded Bullets and Horton Spheres, which are used in the storage of LPG, pressure vessels, rail wagons, piping for petroleum products, everything conforming to National and International standards. These equipment include those which require low-temperature application and reticulated gas systems.
Calibration & Servicing
Based on the characteristics of the PSV and pop up action, this testing should be performed in an interval of 2-4 years. For PSV calibration, we compare the set pressure, which is the rapid releasing action of the PSV, to the displayed value of the reference standard. The pressure relief valve testing procedure to verify the accuracy of output pressure is also the same.
Vibration Analysis
For checking the anomalies and monitoring change from the established vibration signature of a system, we perform vibration analysis for the variation of amplitude, intensity and amplitude. Vibration monitoring also helps in condition monitoring of the equipment. Apart from this, we also check the temperature and condition of its oil to look for any significant changes that might indicate an impending failure.
